I wish I could visit Finland and meet Piksi, Irene Adler and go to the Midnight Sun Film Festival. So much wonderfulness originates from Finland: Kaurismäki, Moomins, Aalto, Finnish Tango, Marimekko, Nanso: "Nanso, since its beginnings as a dyehouse [in 1921], has gradually grown over the decades to achieve its current status as the second largest company in the Finnish clothing industry. Nanso products are the creations of local designers, produced with respect for nature and human dignity. Ich wünschte, ich könnte nach Finnland reisen, Piksi und Irene Adler treffen und das Midnight Sun Festival besuchen. Finnland ist zauberhaft: Kaurismäki, die Mumins, Aalto, Finnischer Tango, Marimekko und Nanso. Das Unternehmen Nanso wurde 1921 als Lohnfärberei gegründet und ist mittlerweile das zweitgrößte Bekleidungsunternehmen Finnlands. Die Nanso Kollektionen werden von finnischen Designern entworfen und in Finnland produziert. 2007 wurde die erste Fairtrade Baumwollkollektion vorgestellt. Die Baumwolle kommt aus Kamerun und wird in der Türkei versponnen. Langfristig sollen alle Nanso Produkte aus Fairtrade Baumwolle hergestellt werden, sagt CEO Pertti Lahervuori.
