The Norwegian fashion label Fin was founded in 2006 by Nikolai Herlofsen, Eivind Ødegård, Nikolai Perwin and Norwegian-Finnish fashion designer Minna Hannila. Fin is a certified fair trade company that uses organic cotton, wild non-violent silk and organic baby alpaca: “Fairtrade certification is independent and ensures that ethical production guidelines are enforced by someone other than the fashion company,” says Herlofsen. FIN Fashion’s founders also travel to India to check production personally. “We want to ensure both that the products maintain high quality and that production is ethical. This means ensuring that workers are well paid, and that they enjoy good working conditions,” says Herlofsen. You can watch a video of Fin's spring/summer 2009 runway show on their website. Fin-Mode wird aus Biobaumwolle, wilder Seide und Alpaka geschneidert: "Fin produziert in Peru und Indien, ist mit dem strengen GOTS-Siegel zertifziert und produziert zu 100 Prozent aus biologisch angebauten Fasern wie Biobaumwolle oder Biowolle. Obendrein ist die Kollektion klimaneutral hergestellt. Zu sehen und zu bestellen ist die feminine Kollektion etwa bei Glore in Nürnberg."
