Summer Sale at Machja

The Corsican label Machja was launched in 2005 by Catherine Soundirarassou, Indo-Vietnamese, and Jean Louis Rossi, Corsican, who describe their company's style as casual chic.

"Machja chooses producers who guarantee their workers fair wages and decent working conditions. Machja sweatshirts and t-shirts are made in the Tamil Nadu region of southern India. The workshop is run by a convent of Franciscan nuns, and employs 120 disabled young women.
Machja jeans are made of organic cotton (from Mali, Senegal and Cameroon) certified by Max Havelaar, and are sown and assembled in a Tunisian factory awaiting Max Havelaar certification.

All articles are made of totally natural materials. Machja uses only certified (Eco-cert, Skal et IMO) organic cotton, free of pesticides and polluting chemicals."
