From Somewhere

From Somewhere was launched in 1997 by Orsola de Castro and Filipo Ricci. They use high-quality fabrics that are leftovers from the production of designer clothes and produce whimsical patchwork fashion. The production takes place in Italy close to other manufacturers from which the From Somewhere team gather the fabric proofs, swatches, production off-cuts and end of rolls used in their own designs. From Somewhere is currently only available in their own shop on 341 Portobello Road in London but their website states that they will open an online shop soon.

From Somewhere wurde 1997 von Orsola de Castro und Filipo Ricci gegründet. Sie benutzen für ihre Kleidung hochwertige Stoffreste, die bei der Produktion anderer Designer übrigbleiben. Ihre Entwürfe werden in Italien hergestellt, in der Nähe der Hersteller von denen das From Somewhere Team die Stoffreste einsammelt.
